Instructions for care of a glass

Clear glass – float

This type of glass can be maintained by the ordinary cleaner for a glass. The cleaner is applied directly on the glass surface and by the clean, dry cloth (for example “Swedish Microfiber Cloth“) polished to dryness. In any way do not use cleaners containing abrasives such as Cif, already after the first  application will be irreparably damaged the glass surface.

Satináto

These types of glass we recommend to wash only with a clear, hot water. When the glass is very soiled , you can use just a small amount of cleaner such as Jar – optimal drop on “Swedish Microfiber Cloth“, but that the water foamed at least.

Is always necessary to wash the whole surface of glass, even if it is only locally soiled.

The glass is washing only with a minimal amount of water (with wet cloth) so to avoid wet maps.

For the glass washing is absolutely necessary use a clean cloth.

The glass will wash gently in circular movements.

After glass washing, let the glass dry out.

In no way is not possible to use products for cleaning glass on a etched (matt) side of the glass. Otherwise, it will be irretrievably lost surface features of etched glass. Also, it may in no case on both surfaces of the glass (as a smooth side and on the etched side) use any cleaners containing abrasives. Already after the first  application will irreparably damaged the glass surface. The smooth side of glass is possible to clean with ordinary glass cleaners.

Tempered (hard) glass with motives

Surface properties of the glass with motives are the same as properties of ordinary glass. It means, that is possible to care of it with ordinary glass cleaners.

In no way do not use cleaners containing abrasives, already after the first application will be irretrievably damaged the glass surface.

The maximum thermal resistence of glass with motives is 120°C, so always make sure that this material does not come in contact with higher temperatures. Especially in kitchens with gas hobs may be irreparably damaged the glass. Here, in no way should not come into direct contact of glass with a flame. It is also unacceptable the glass with motives and particularly edges of the material came into contact with agents containing – based solvents acetone, toluene, etc. and further agents comprising any acid including sanitary silicone sealant. In case of the contact of these materials and laminated layer of the glass with motives occurs delamination, which is reflected in the first phase like a “mapping“ in the glass. This damage of the glass is irreparable.

Instructions for care of door SAPELI

Appropriate indoor environment for installation and use of products SAPELI:

·         minimum temperature of environment 10 °C (the value of the door climate is 3 °C), maximum temperature is 35 °C

·         maximum temperature difference between two separate interiors 5 °C (the door climate until 20 °C)

·         maximim humidity difference between two separate interiors 10 % (the door climate until 50 %)

·         relative air humidity of the interior 40 – 50 % (does not apply to the door to the wet)

·         recommended humidity of masonry, plasters, floors 12 -18 % (does not apply to the door to the wet)

Appropriate care

Products are delivered on different surface material – massive, veneer, foil, CPL, HPL, color, raw state, aluminium, stone according to the customer’s wishes. Poducts in raw state are necessary to finish the surface in an appropriate manner so that they can be treated. Surface of the door is protected from dust and pollution, which is realized by normal operation and adequate treatment. Otherwise, to remove dirt from surface of door is sufficient a soft dry cloth or slightly moisted one. You can not use agressive cleaning products (powdered, based on chlorine etc.) or agressive cleaning (scourer, brush etc.). Under no circumstances you can not use a water, only to soak the cloth, which throughly wring. Similarly glazed ares, it is necesary to treat only to avoid contact of decorative frame with an excessive amount of free water. We recommend to wash the whole area of glass, even though the glass is not dirty all. Etched glass (pavé, satináto) let dry naturally. Sandblasted glass gently wipe dry wit a dry cloth.

For treatment need only Sapeli cleaning products.

When the door frame is in a contact with the floor where is carried out the wet way of its maintennace, it is necessary to carried out the undercementation of the frame with a suitable silicone. Moisture more easily penetrates into the construction from the underside. Therefore wipe the floor with a wrinkled cloth. Do not spill the water directly on the floor, otherwise there is a risk of twisting the door or colored change of veneer or unpacking of finish material. This is a consequence of insensitive treatment of water. Attention: The products are not intended for direct contact with water, without the door to the wet.

Stone surface

The unprocessed surface is made of a raw stone layer with its natural features and appearance and game of colors of various minerals, metallic oxides and corrosion. This natural game of colors and surface structures makes stone material so interesting.

This material can be used in its original form for production of door. Maintennace is carried out with a damp cloth made of microfibre. The surface is then dried to dryness.

We recommended the treatment of impregnation for products that are at risk of pollution.Impregnation can be purchased from vendors Sapeli.

Anodised aluminium surface

For door surface and frames cleaning is sufficient a moistened cloth. We recommend to use soap cleaner Sapeli by stronger pollution. General principles apply as for veneered surfaces.

GLANZ – a high-gloss finish

Protective foil: Do not remove the protective foil that the door is equipped with before completing all the work. We recommend the door surface care with suitable polish (polis on door and furniture) immediately after removing the protective foil. Using a new clean fine microfibre or felt cloth, polis slightly. Thus achieving optimal scratch resistance.

Cleaning and maintenance of Glanz: Use wet fabrics made of microfibre or deerskin and warm water wit soap cleaner Sapeli for cleaning. Treat the surface with polish Sapeli (spray) after cleaninig. Its application once a week keeps the surface in optimal condition.

Never clean the surface dry, do not use paper towels. Avoid using sharp objects or objects with abrasive surfaces such as brushes, scrapers, scourers etc.

For cleaning do not use preparations containing organic solvents (solvent type: benzine, toluene, acetone etc.) and resources containing acidic compounds. Do not use also silicone polish and preparations containing alcohol, which can damage the surface.

Maintenance and adjustment

Doors and frames do not reguired a special maintenance. If the doors are fitted in a door frame and have maintenance-free hinge, we recommend hinge adjustment once a year or if it is necessary and tightening the hanger brackets. Some hinge are adjusted by screwing or by unscrewing, or according to the installation instructions. We recommend lubricating the lock (its movable parts) with the product from our offer once a year.
